Evaluate the PSA project unit--what did you learn? what helped you to learn? What was the most challenging aspects of the unit? How could the unit be improved?
From this project i learned the essentials to filming good quality video's and i ;earned how much effort is needed to capture the picture that you have in mind. the most challenging part of the unit of than time was definitely the story boarding because it had to be so detailed, but in the end it helped us to get a better picture of what our PSA would look like. i think if we had days during class that were for filming and we wouldn't miss anything important that it would help a lot but i would say the the unit was very organized and that helped a lot.

Q: Overall, do you think your PSA is effective? Why or why not?
A yes i think our PSA is effective because it draws people in due to the comedy but it also have messages and info about how much sleep people should get daily and other statistics. so it tells people about things they wouldnt normally learn about in like school or work which is good because its most likely a fresh topic and when they see our psa it might make them want to know more so they can search it up online. so, Yes i think its effective.

Uno Cinco - Uno
Are you content with your group's PSA? Why or Why not?
yes, i'm very content with the work we did and the ideas we came up with. i think our idea was very original and will be effective for getting a message across to teens and youth because we made it comical. Also i think we all did a good job of getting everything organized and completed in time, and working together.

排名第四 ( number four)
- Where is your group in the video production process? we have not started filming yet but hopefully we can start this weekend.
- What needs to be completed? We have everything ready to film we just need to get a camera out and do it.
- What is working out well? I think everything is working out well at the moment nothing relly getting in our way yet and everything is running smoothly.
- What have been the obstacles? we haven't had any yet but i expect there may be some we we begin the filming.
Nummer Drei
What has been the most challenging part of the PSA project thus far? i would say the hardest part was probably doing the storyboard. I say this cause it needed so much details and it was a little time consuming, but it was all good because we got enough time in class.
numéro deux
- Overall, how did your groups pitch go--- reflect and evaluate? i would say our pitch went really well, we all did a good job of explaining the ideas to the group and being vibrant and communicating well. we also said all we needed to say i think so we did a good job at that too. so overall I think we did great.
- Is your message of public/community interest? Yes I think our message is of interest to the community because we are reminding them of something they probably dont think about too much, and its a really important message too and we think its overlooked which is not good.
- Who is your target audience and how will your form/style appeal to them? our target audience is mainly teens and we are going for a comedic effect which will most likely appeal to people around that age group if not older or younger. We are thinking it will appeal to them because its kind of like a " SNL Digital Short" which lots of teens have probably seen and is pretty famous.
Numero Uno
- 1. What is the role of public service announcements in our media culture? PSA's are here to reach out and help to teach the public about what they can do to help with problems in our world and to teach them how to protect hemselves, stay healthy, and just to inform the public about anything needed to be said.
- What are some of the topics your group thought of for your PSA? Our group had a lot of topics that we were thinking about, but we decided to focus on sleep deprivation because its unique and you dont see alot of videos telling people to get good sleep, also because its important. because theres alot of people out there not getting their recommended hours.
- What is your groups plan for your PSA? our plan is to do a PSA on sleep deprivation, and we are going to try and make it comical to attract the attention of kids and teenagers.
- What role did you play in creating the plan? I would say we all equally contributed to creating the plan because we all came together and kinda knew what we wanted to do, we all wanted it to be comical, but have a good message and we worked up from there. After that it was all about giving ideas for topics and ideas for the movie.
BLOG (in class)
Yes i think my group is effectively doing what it takes and preparing for the PSA that we have to create. i think that what i read wont really change my PSA at all mostly because i couldnt watch the videos and because it talked about how effective PSA's are, not how to change them

Blog post #2
The folgers coffee advertisements are very affective. They are effective because the song is catchy and you cant help but sing along when the commercial comes on and everybody knows the jingle so when you go shopping for coffee folgers seems very familiar and that makes you want to buy it. When you continously put things into people's minds they self consciously think about it and become familiar with the product.

From the MTN presesntation i learned how to critique PSA's and look at details that will help me to make mine a better informant for viewers. At the second presentation I learned that there is more to pre-production than scripts, there is the synopsis, treatment, breakdowns and more, and i think this will help to make my PSA a more efficient informant for viewers
